PARACHUTE HOME FAVORITES
When it comes to bedding, Parachute is my number one. With the dreamiest textures & color palettes plus outstanding quality & durability (like 3 kids, 3 cats & a dog durable!) there is a reason we come back to them over & over again.
The wonderful thing about Parachute is their colors & textures work impeccably well together while mixing & matching. I like to have a mix of textures & colors that I can change out per the seasons & to refresh the space. In our bedroom, the bed is the centerpiece of the room, having high-quality bedding that I can easily swap out gives our room an instant face-lift & touch of freshness. The key is to stick with a few colorways that you can pair together. I have become more fond of warm tones, so my go-tos are white, natural/bone/tan & rose/blush.
Here are some of my favorite items from Parachute:
Body Pillow: When I was pregnant with our 3rd I wanted a pillow that would provide comfort & support to my achy/growing body but I was struggling with the curvy pregnancy-specific pillows, they were challenging to include once the bed was made & our small house had no others storage to accommodate it. The Parachute down alternative body pillow solved this problem, it is a dream to snuggle with & looks beautiful on the bed. I have the vintage linen cover in 3 colors (white, natural & sienna) & swap them out for different seasons & moods. Even though I’m no longer pregnant I still sleep with this pillow every night.
Linen Sheets: We have fallen in LOVE with the feel of linen sheets. They are durable, breathable & somehow so comfy. We stopped using a top sheet & just stick with a fitted sheet + quilt or comforter but we have the Parachute king-size fitted sheet in 3 colors (blush, bone & white).
Quilt: Admittedly, I’m not a huge fan of duvets— mine always get twisted up inside & the full-day process of washing the cover & putting it back on is overwhelming to me. While duvets are cozy, I find a good quilt just as wonderful without the same hassles that duvets bring. We have several Parachute quilts for our own bed (the original in both bone & blush, as well as the linen loft quilt in rose clay) & our boys both have Parachute quilts (in surplus, an earthy green tone) on their beds. We have even had the baby quilt in fog for all three boys as babies. I’ve never been a “quilt person” until I met Parachute’s quilts & now I am a devout fan for life.
Robe: I use both the Parachute cloud cotton robe in rose & the waffle robe in tan (which is the robe I used in the hospital with Sonny!) & they are so cozy. The waffle robe is more of my out-of-the-shower robe & the cloud cotton robe I tie in the back & use as an around-the-house robe. Both are just so cozy & make for a beautiful sight hanging on the back of the bathroom door.
Matelasse Coverlet: These blankets & shams are what I use on our bed to amp up the texture. I keep the Parachute Matelasse coverlet folded across our bed for an instant layer if we need more warmth in the night (& it’s a great pet-guard for my duvet or quilts!). They also make work as a touch of texture on a couch too.
Blankets: I recently added the Parachute Linea Coverlet in the cream & ochre option to our bedding & I’m loving the subtle diamond stitching. I also just picked up the Parachute oversized knit throw in flax because I wanted a cozy cotton blanket & I love the texture it adds to a bed or couch but even better, it’s so so cozy!
Duvet: As I said, I’m not the biggest fan of duvets for the effort they require (though maybe I should watch Parachute’s “How to Put on a Duvet” video) but there is no denying that sleeping-on-a-cloud type feeling. The Parachute down alternative comforter is fluffy & ideal in all-weather & right now we are using the speckled cotton duvet cover on it & it is a soft fluffy dream & I love the little speckled details.
While I have been gifted Parachute products in the past, the majority of them I have purchased out of pocket. Parachute link is an affiliate link, meaning, I earn a percentage of payment from any sales through it.
